Christmas giveaway lap Quilt for Thrive

Nike, the innovator of Choose to Thrive asked if I would be willing to donate a giveaway lap quilt. With the holidays fast approaching, I said I would make a Christmas lap quilt. I am so happy with how this turned out. It is with Nike having to rip it out of my hands that I am giving this away. It turned out so great! I hope the winner really enjoys this awesome quilt through the holidays this year and many more to come. Congratulations.

The quilt we decided to make was more traditional prints. The light squares are done with a beautiful winter countryside, a traditional looking snowman, and a gorgeous winter forest scene complete with all the sparkles. The darks in this quilt are done with holly leaves, and a hunter green and gold sparkle. The back has an intimate Christmas village. It is finished with a deep navy blue satin binding. I love it!

Baby Boy Quilt Ready to go.

This is the first quilt ready to go. It is done in a neutral scheme to fit any boy nursery.  The burnt oranges are set with a neutral khaki tone. What I love about the baby quilts is that they can go from the crib to a toddler bed with the greatest of ease. I fell in love with the backing of this quilt as well. You can really see the hand quilting, as well as the beautiful pattern of the fabric.

Cost for this quilt is $80 plus shipping
